The National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), or NIA, together with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and Kasetsart University (KU), opened a showcase for Thai food innovation under “Thai Kitchen 2026: Crafted FoodTech Accelerator Program” at THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026, the international food and beverage trade show. The aim is to propel Thai entrepreneurs into global markets by presenting food innovation and food technology built for the future.
The booth was honoured by a visit from Research Professor Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Chair of the National Innovation Board, together with Dr. Krichpaka Bunyafueng, Director of the National Innovation Agency, and executives from NIA, NRCT and Kasetsart University, who toured the stand and encouraged the Thai entrepreneurs exhibiting there.
The show brings together all 12 Thai FoodTech companies from Thai Kitchen 2026, presenting high-value food and beverage innovations spanning health foods, functional foods, ingredients and seasonings, through to future-food products built on Thai research, technology and know-how — a reflection of how much economic value the Thai food-innovation ecosystem can create, and how much it can lift the country’s competitiveness.
The event also hosts a Business Matching area connecting Thai companies with importers, distributors, investors and business partners from Thailand and abroad, creating opportunities for market expansion, investment and international growth.
Visitors can experience the idea of “future food” first-hand through innovative products developed by Thai entrepreneurs throughout the show — a demonstration of the part technology and innovation play in carrying the Thai food industry forward. Anyone interested in food innovation, food technology and new business opportunities is welcome to visit.
