The National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), or NIA, under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), together with Kasetsart University, held an Orientation & Workshop under Thai Kitchen 2026: Crafted FoodTech Accelerator Program on 30 April 2026 at the Innovation Park Building, National Innovation Agency (Public Organization). The session introduced the participating entrepreneurs to the programme and prepared them to build the capability of their food-innovation businesses and open up opportunities to expand into international markets.
Dr. Krichpaka Bunyafueng, Director of the National Innovation Agency, welcomed and congratulated all 12 companies selected for the programme, joined by Dr. Suraat Suphajatturat, Deputy Director for Innovation Finance.
During the session, participants heard a full briefing on the programme from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitipong Rattanaporn, Associate Dean for Research and Food Innopolis, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University.
A panel discussion on “Food Business Expansion: From Kitchen to Global Market” featured the programme’s coaches — Khun Pariyanuch Na Takuathung, Khun Porntip Dechkriangkraikul and Khun Choedsak Khommana — moderated by Dr. Arisara Thongphet, Programme Manager.
The day also included a workshop to analyse each business’s potential and map out a systematic plan for developing it.
Thai Kitchen: Crafted FoodTech Accelerator Program exists to help Thai food entrepreneurs raise their business capability through innovation, develop competitive business models, and create opportunities to expand into international markets.
